A Nursing Assistant provides basic care and support to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. They assist with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, and eating, and also help with mobility, toileting, and feeding. Nursing assistants monitor vital signs, report changes in patient condition, and offer emotional support.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the forecasted growth demand for Nursing Assistants between now and 2031 is 4%.
Annual salaries average $39k. Hourly pay typically ranges from $17 to $19, depending on experience. Plus, the role often comes with full-time benefits like health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.

Hands-on Skills Training: Wednesday 9am-2pm
Clinical Externship: TBD (Student agrees to work the schedule of preceptor at assigned facility. Program Director will provide details of clinical rotation site once confirmed based on location availability and proximity to student.)
